He did not hide his light under a bushel; even when he was in a prison cell, his words and his strength inspired the world. The thought that lingers in my mind when I think of Nelson Mandela is that he left this world so much better than he found it. He had a powerful, positive impact while he was alive and will continue to inspire millions for years to come. We all have a finite time on this earth. Consequently, that window of your life should offer a glimpse of love, faith, action, service, gratitude, activism, and other qualities that only you can bring to the table. Is your family better because you are a part of it? Is your presence felt in your community and is it a stronger unit because of your contributions? Is your light shining brightly or is it covered under fear and insecurity. Today is a great day to start living more boldly. Identify one way that you can step out of the shadows at home, at work or in your community and take a small step towards your greatness.
